Pin the extension

Play at roblox.com — Bloxshade works in the web player, not the desktop app alone.
Enable Shaders in-game
Join any experience, click the Bloxshade icon, toggle Enable Shaders, adjust bloom and fog to taste.

How to install
Step 1 of 4 — pick your browser above, then follow the steps
Download & unzip
Grab the ZIP and extract it to any folder on your PC.
Enable Dev Mode
Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer Mode.
Load the folder
Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted Bloxshade folder.
Enable Shaders
Pin Bloxshade, open Roblox, click the icon, and hit Enable Shaders.

FAQ
What exactly does Bloxshade do?
Bloxshade is a browser extension that injects post-processing shaders into the Roblox web player. It adds volumetric fog, bloom glow, depth-of-field blur, dynamic ambient shadows, and color grading — all without touching game files or violating Roblox ToS.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome, Edge, and Firefox are fully supported. Any Chromium-based browser (Brave, Opera GX, Vivaldi) should work too.
Will I get banned for using this?
Bloxshade operates entirely within the browser layer and does not modify the Roblox client, inject code into the game engine, or interact with any anti-cheat systems. It is client-side visual only.
Does it affect my frame rate?
Shaders are processed by your GPU. On modern hardware the impact is minimal. You can disable individual effects from the extension popup to tune performance to your liking.
How do I update to a new version?
Download the latest ZIP from this page, extract it to a new folder, then go to your extensions page, find Bloxshade, click the refresh icon, and point it to the new folder. Your settings carry over automatically.
Does it work on Mac or only Windows?
Bloxshade works on any OS where Roblox runs in a browser — Windows, macOS, and Linux are all supported. The extension itself is platform-independent.
Is Bloxshade a virus or malware?
No. Bloxshade is an open browser extension — it only adds visual effects in your browser. It does not steal passwords, read cookies, or send your Roblox account anywhere. Download only from bloxshade.cc.
Does it work on mobile / phone?
Not yet. Bloxshade requires a desktop browser with extension support (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). Mobile Roblox apps don't support browser extensions.
Do I need a powerful PC?
A dedicated GPU helps, but Bloxshade runs on most modern laptops and PCs. You can turn off individual effects if you need more FPS.
